A complete computer meltdown is to be blamed for my recent hiatus from blogging. $323 and a new hard drive later, I re-enter the blogosphere.

The last week has been spent restoring my music library from online backups (the better part of 30GB over 4 days). That circumstance and school starting last week necessitated breaking down and purchasing internet for my house. Whatever productivity that brings me will likely be undone by the addition of cable television to the package, but on the bright side I’m one step closer to satisfying my Tivo dependency. I’ve had to deal with the loss of a shit-ton of great software, but I’m hoping my new student discount will help make up for that.
